We are now just days away from one of the most famous sporting events taking place - the Ryder Cup. This year the tournament comes from Medinah, Chicago and it up there with the most eagerly anticipated tournaments for some time.
The Americans will go into the competition as the slight favourites, which is mainly due to the fact that they are on home soil and the crowd are set to make an incredible amount of noise.
It is Europe who currently hold have the bragging rights though after winning the Ryder Cup two years ago. Retaining it in America, that really would be something special.
Jose Maria Olazábal is the man given the task of leading the Europeans to victory in Illinois, and he certainly has the players at his disposal that can come out on top.
The man all eyes are going to be on to lead Europe to glory is current world number one Rory McIlroy - who is in a fantastic bit of form at the moment. It is a lot of pressure to put on the 23-year-olds shoulders - but he is the sort of character that is likely to relish it.
The Northern Irishman has enjoyed four big tournament wins this year, whilst teammates Paul Lawrie, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood all have two.
Despite not having the best few years of his career, Tiger Woods is still the main man for USA and Davis Love III will know that if he is on top of his game, then he is sure to be picking up points.
Love has warned the Europeans that they will have never experienced a noise quite like the one the Chicago crowd will make. It will be a massive test with how they can cope under immense pressure.
With the vast amount of spectators entering the course between Friday and Sunday though, the Americans will know that expectations for them regaining the famous trophy are very high.
What makes this event so special is that a sport that is usually played by individuals turns into a team game, it is all about working together and accumulating points for your team.
In the end though, it will be USA who just manage to win this one, but it will be far from easy. Expect the lead to change a number of times throughout the weekend, but the home team to sneak the 39th Ryder Cup by 14.5 point to 13.5 which is currently 12/5 at Bet365.com.
